Geyser Peak offers family type setting

Meritage Homes' Geyser Peak is a favorite choice among home buyers seeking spacious layouts and a family oriented community, according to Jeannette Murphy, vice president of marketing for Meritage Homes, Las Vegas Division. The gated community is located near the foothills of the Spring Mountains in the northern valley.
"Families want large homes with lots of flexibility and room to grow. Geyser Peak is known for just that," Murphy said. "Each floor plan can be configured in a variety of ways. A family with infants and toddlers has completely different needs than a family with teenagers. With a few structural variations, the same floor plan could potentially work for both."

Home buyers can select from four home designs. Single- and two-story layouts are offered. Prices start in the mid-$300,000s.
At 2,030 square feet, the single-story Ricci plan has four bedrooms, three baths, a great room, dining room, two-car garage and optional covered patio. The flexible floor plan allows for a den with or without a bath in lieu of the third bedroom. Home buyers can also opt for an additional garage bay instead of a fourth bedroom.
The two-story Sonoma plan has 2,360 square feet of living space. It includes four bedrooms, three baths, great room, library and three-car split garage. A loft, master retreat, bonus room, covered patio and office or casita at the one-car garage are among the structural variations.
The two-story Vallerga plan has 2,843 square feet with three bedrooms and as many baths. The floor plan features a great room, dining room, den, bonus room, covered patio and three-car garage.
Also measuring 2,843 square feet, the Alexander plan is a two-story home design with five bedrooms, four baths, covered patio and three-car split garage. The layout includes formal living and dining rooms, plus a family room off the kitchen. Structural options include a garden room, loft, bonus room above the living room and an office or casita at the one-car garage.
The sales center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except for Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
