Greenwood offers gated living, three-story homes in northwest

Located in the growing northwestern valley, Richmond American's Greenwood community offers gated privacy and three-story floor plans priced from the $230,000s.

"We're one of the few gated communities Richmond American is building right now, and residents love the privacy that offers," sales agent Amber Albon said. "With only about 60 homes, Greenwood is a smaller neighborhood with a lot of charm."

Three models are open for touring.

Priced from the $260,000s, the 1,950-square-foot Onyx is the largest design. The lower level features a bonus room and a full bath, while the main level offers a great room, dining room and kitchen.

The second floor houses the master bedroom suite with a walk-in closet and bath. The master suite is located down the hall from the other two bedrooms.

At about 1,800 square feet, the Aventurine is priced from the $240,000s. The first floor has a media room or optional fourth bedroom, and the second level features an open layout. The kitchen has a center island.

Priced from the $230,000s, the Jasper is distinguished by an entry overlooking a media room on the lower level. Stairs lead up to the second floor, which offers a great room, dining room and kitchen with balcony. The 1,650-square-foot home also offers a master bedroom suite and two bedrooms on the third floor.

To visit Greenwood and tour the model homes, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive and go north. Go west on Deer Springs Way, south on Ft. Apache Road and west on Echelon Point.

The sales center and models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Friday when they open at noon. For more details, call 396-8161.

Richmond American Homes is building more than 40 communities throughout Las Vegas, with more than 100 floor plans to choose from.

Prices range from the $100,000s to the $600,000s and homes span from about 1,350 to just over 4,000 square feet.
