Harmony offers homes for $77 per square foot

Harmony Homes has unveiled a new five-bedroom floor plan at its Harmony Pointe Collection. The North Las Vegas neighborhood now offers five distinct designs starting at just $77 per square foot.

"We created this floor plan as a direct result of input from our homebuyers," said Eric Stafford, vice president of construction for the company. "Many families are growing and need additional bedrooms for their children, offices and hobbies. Our new plan offers 3,023 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and three full baths."

And the price is unbeatable, according to Harmony Homes' sales manager Lorne Wilson.

"Prices in this community start at just $189,900 and homeowners get so much more than just a house with a yard," he said. "They get a community where they know their neighbors, are near all their favorite shopping outlets and are close by their children's schools."

Harmony Pointe is an intimate collection of 95 homes ranging from 1,749 to 3,115 square feet. The gated neighborhood features two park areas exclusive to residents, a tot lot and volleyball pit, which are under construction.

Wilson said residents tell him the neighborhood's location is one of the biggest benefits of buying their homes.

New stores in the Deer Springs Town Center are slated to open next month and Kohl's has already opened.

"Dee Springs Town Center is similar to Summerlin's Boca Park and Henderson's The District," he said. "Target is opening in March and stores like Home Depot, Toys R Us, Babies R Us and Ross are all under construction. For Harmony Pointe residents, their favorite stores all will be conveniently located just a few moments from home."

The neighborhood has a new exit on Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, at North 5th Street.

This exit is opening soon and (will be) just a few blocks from here," Wilson said. "You can hop on the freeway and get anywhere in town without worrying about gridlock and traffic congestion."

Harmony Pointe is also located near several elementary schools and Legacy High School.

"There are no premiums, or additional fees, being charged for the home sites right now, but once we begin releasing new phases there will be premiums attached to them," Wilson said. "The best values are being offered now so I encourage anyone who has been thinking of buying a new home to stop by and check out this fantastic community."

Standard features include landscaped common areas, finished garages, ceiling fan prewiring and cable outlets in all bedrooms and family rooms and dens and upstairs laundry rooms, rear-yard barbecue stubs, Beech cabinetry and walk-in closets. Options with the homes include additional bedrooms, kitchen islands and covered patios or decks per plan.

Harmony Homes is selling homes in four Las Vegas neighborhoods, -- Harmony Pointe, Harmony Springs, Harmony Heights and Harmony Sands. Prices start in the $150,000s and sizes range from 1,286 to 3,115 square feet. There are no LIDs or SIDs, Wilson said.

Wilson said all homes are Energy Star certified. In fact, as part of a new campaign to promote its additional energy-efficient options, the builder will sponsor a buyer to receive upgraded energy-efficient features at no cost. Current and new homebuyers are eligible for the program, he said.

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, east from Interstate 15 to Losee Road. Turn right on Losee heading south and right on Deer Springs Way heading west. Pass the Deer Springs Town Center and turn right on Goldfield Street heading north. Turn right on E. Dorrell Lane and travel one block to the Harmony Pointe gates on the right.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily
