HARRAH’S DECLARES ‘NO RESORT FEE’ ZONE

Hollywood Madison, left, joined Marilyn Winn, president of Planet Hollywood and PH Towers, on Thursday announced that Planet Hollywood & PH Towers are the latest Harrah’s Entertainment hotels in Las Vegas to take a stand against resort fees. The resorts join Caesars Palace, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino, Flamingo Las Vegas, Bally’s Las Vegas, Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon and Imperial Palace as official “no resort fee zones.” Madison and Winn are behind a wall of currency which represents the $12 million in cash spent last month on resort fees by visitors to the Las Vegas Strip.
