Harry Reid’s statement a disgrace — U.S. border NOT secure
In the wake of two illegal immigrants from Mexico who gunned down an off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent in front of his family, one must once again wonder: How big of a heartless politician is Harry Reid.
The most senior senator from Nevada in one of his periodic brainless defenses of President Obama and Democratic Party ineptness actually said that the U.S.-Mexico “border is secure”.
That is a lie.
Reid should recant and use his spectacularly undeserved congressional vacation this August to travel down to Texas and say he’s sorry to the widow of Javier Vega Jr.
Vega was killed by two Mexican citizens who had illegally crossed the border many, many times. They are proof that the U.S. -Mexico is not secure. Sen. Reid should be ashamed.
