Harry, Sharron — what say ye about amnesty, Mexican drug cartels

Our neighbor state Arizona is under siege by human trafficking and Mexican drug cartels. The Bureau of Land management has posted warnings over chunks of Southern Arizona and advise travelers to steer north away from the drug violence. Law enforcement in Arizona say they are outmanned and outgunned.

President Obama provides no leadership on the topic. He's less than useless because if we're going to be honest about it, his answer is almost all about politics and amnesty. He's sent inadequate troops to the border to fix the drug cartel problem. But he has sued Arizona and reported the state to the UN as a human rights violator. Un-freakin'-believable.

I think Sen. Reid agrees with President Obama. At least he does on 99 percent of things. From what I can tell from his public statements on the topic, he as well looks to amnesty over law enforcement on the issue of illegal immigration.

I'd like to hear from both Sen. Reid and Sharron Angle on this topic. I'd like to know specifically what they plan to do about illegal immigration and Mexican drug cartels on the border. BTW, I'm told by police that Mexican drug cartels now control the meth trade in Las Vegas and most of Nevada, so this is not just a theoretical problem for Nevadans.

I hope both candidates respond with as lengthy of a statement as they want. I'll bet I'm not the only Nevadan who cares.
