Hauck says UNLV well aware of UNR’s talent
UNLV football coach Bobby Hauck was brief in most of his answers on this morning's Mountain West Conference teleconference, probably careful with his words with No. 25 UNR visiting Sam Boyd Stadium on Saturday.
He did say the Rebels were well aware of UNR, even if much of the country wasn't.
"From our perspective, nobody there is under the radar," Hauck said. "They're good players."
As for the transition his own team has had under the first-year coach, Hauck said the coaches have tried to ease the players into the new system.
"We've tried not to make it completely foreign," Hauck said. But he added, "In particular, the passing game is on the different side of the spectrum from what they're used to."
