Health care town hall with a Kind ending

A public health care debate doesn't have to be a circus, judging by a town hall event on the subject in Wisconsin.

Ron Kind, D-Wis., hosted the event Tuesday in Richland Center, Wis.

According to an article in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the event had plenty of dissenters, but the discussion was civil.

This despite the depiction of such events around the country, especially those hosted by Democrats, as devolving into fracases marked by insults and misleading information.

At the Kind event, pun intended, folks seemed happy to have a chance to chime in with their two cents and let others do the same.

"You can conduct a forum of this nature without degenerating into mob rule," Kind told the newspaper.
