Heller calls Nevada jobless numbers “deeply troubling”

Rep. Dean Heller, R-Nev., reacting to the report that Nevada's unemployment rate climbed to 14.5 percent in December, said this in a statement:
“The increase in unemployment in Nevada is deeply troubling and I continue to be concerned about our struggling economy. Businesses need stability to thrive and create jobs – that starts with keeping taxes low and controlling government spending. Now it is time for Congress to focus on long-term economic policies to help bolster recovery and provide businesses the certainty they need to create jobs.”
