Heller on July unemployment: ‘Congress must turn to jobs plan that stops oppressive regs, implements tax reform.’

Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., reacting to today's report that Nevada's unemployment rate rose to 12.9 percent in July,  said this in a statement.

"Travelling throughout Nevada, it is clear that the economic policies of this Administration have failed. As the state continues to struggle with the highest unemployment rate in the country, Nevadans need this Administration to stop pushing policies that stifle job growth and impede economic recovery. Congress must immediately turn its attention to a jobs plan that stops the flow of oppressive regulations and implements fundamental tax reform so businesses can have the certainty they need to create jobs and put people to work."
