Hello, Steve, it’s Shelley

Before the story about the phone conversation between Rep. Shelley Berkley and Steve Wynn gets any older, there is one comment that has yet to be made: For those of us who know both, Wynn's memory of the conversation sounds just like Shelley Berkley, who more than most anything likes to tell people what they want to hear.

Obviously, I wasn't present. But I was struck by pundits (who also were not there) who uniformly jumped to the aid of Shelley and to cast negative motives upon Wynn.

If I were betting, I'd make Wynn's recollection closer to the truth.
