The city of Henderson plans its next Planning Commission meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 11 and city council meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 16 at Henderson City Hall, 240 S. Water St.

LIBRARY TO BRIEFLY CLOSE FOR RENOVATIONS

The Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway, is set to be closed Sept. 25-27 for recarpeting.

COMPUTER CLASS SCHEDULED FOR SEPT. 18

The Gibson Library, 100 W. Lake Mead Parkway, plans a computer class from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Sept. 18. The class is set to cover the basics of sending, reading, deleting and replying to email messages using Yahoo Mail. The class size is limited to 10 participants and is first come, first served.

The Henderson Libraries Board of Trustees plans a meeting from 7:45 to 9:15 a.m. Sept. 18 at the Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway.

HUMANA GUIDANCE CENTER TO OFFER FLU SHOTS

The Humana Guidance Center, 1000 N. Green Valley Parkway, is set to offer free flu shots from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 17. Proof of insurance is required.
