Henderson police car involved in crash

A Henderson police officer suffered minor injrues after colliding with another car on St. Rose Parkway and Jeffreys Street Monday afternoon.

The officer was driving the police car east on St. Rose Parkway about 4:30 p.m. with lights on when it collided with another car that was traveling through the Jeffreys intersection, Henderson police said.

The speed of both cars is unknown and both drivers suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said. Nobody was transported to the hospital.

Eastbound St. Rose Parkway near Jefferys was closed for nearly two hours while police investigated the accident.
