Hey, where’s my WWP badge?
MSNBC talking head Keith Olbermann named me his "World's Worst Person" today for last week's column titled: "Obama can't keep us safe". Olbermann apparently thinks Obama's done a splendid job keeping us safe if you count the many "other" other acts of terrorism (like the D.C. sniper). Huh?
This is what the progressive left is reduced to these days -- unwittingly sounding like that "what have the Romans done for us?" Monty Python bit in "The Life of Brian".
Olbermann reads the "Obama Is Great" script as well as any unthinking, misguided "progressive." It goes something like this:
"Oh yes, there was that unfortunate Ft. Hood thing ... but other than that, Obama's the man! And, yes, we now have this Christmas Day bomber (who we should have flagged like the Brits, but didn't) but other than that, Obama's the man! Oh, of course, the "knicker bomber" told authorities that he was trained in Yemen, talked with the nasty cleric who also talked to that Ft. Hood guy, and warned that there are scores of suicide bombers just like him trained and ready to strike, but other than that, Obama's the man!
Yep, according to the thinking of Keith, Obama's one tough hombre on terror.
Give me a break. I'll give Olbermann some credit -- at least he read part of my excellent column on the air. But you can read it all right here. And be sure to catch this Sunday's column. If you want the scoop on how current events are poised to swamp Sen. Harry Reid, you won't want to miss that column.
Followers of The Complete Las Vegan can catch Olbermann below. If you've never heard of him before, here's a link for your reading pleasure. Oh, and by the way, be sure to note who I beat out for top WWP honors. Good company in my neighborhood.
