Holidays begin at Rhodes Ranch

As the holiday season approaches, several holiday-themed events are being planned by the Rhodes Ranch community association and are open exclusively to residents.

"Rhodes Ranch is not just a place you park your car every night," Taylor Smith, sales agent, said. "It is a community in which you can know your neighbors, raise your children and elevate your overall quality of life."

Among community amenities available to residents is the R-Club recreation center. R-Club offers a variety of regular fitness and social opportunities, as well as seasonal events just for residents. This holiday season, the R-Club will host several events for children and adults.

"In November and December alone, the community association is hosting two Family Fun nights, where parents and children can decorate holiday cookies, make crafts, play board games and participate in sporting competitions," Smith said. "They are also having a Holiday Bazaar and Craft show where residents can display and sell their artwork, as well as a community giving tree for donations to children at Sunrise Hospital."

Both Rhodes Ranch and Tuscany Residential Village, developer Rhodes Homes' Henderson master plan, are planning visits with Santa in December.

"There is so much more to living at Rhodes Ranch than finding a well-designed home at a great price," Smith said. "Living at Rhodes Ranch is a lifestyle."

In addition to special events, the 35,000-square-foot R-Club includes a large gathering area with a fireplace for residents to socialize, study, work and meet in a comfortable central location. The center hosts daily card games and residents older than 16 can get together in the billiards room with six tables and options for ping pong.

"Fitness is an important part of our residents' lives, so the R-Club includes an indoor workout facility with weights and cardiovascular equipment, a full-length basketball court and two racquetball/handball courts," Smith said. Residents can participate in a variety of group classes including Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, total body conditioning and circuit training in the group exercise room. Personal trainers are also available by appointment to help homeowners create health and fitness programs.

"After you work out, you can relax in the library and read one of hundreds of books donated by residents," Smith said.

Rhodes Ranch has six collections available with one- and two-story homes starting under $200,000.

"There is no other community around offering so much for such a fantastic price," Smith said. Rhodes Ranch's monthly homeowners' association fee of approximately $100 gives residents access to the R-Club, Fun Zone Water Park, award-winning Rhodes Ranch golf club and miles of walking paths throughout the community.

The Rhodes Ranch Golf Club has become one of the hottest golf destinations in Las Vegas. Designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson, the par-72 course was named a Best Value by Vegas Golfer magazine and surrounds players in its tropical setting.

Rhodes Homes has built more than 6,000 homes in the Las Vegas Valley during the past two decades and is developing 16 communities throughout the city with homes to fit every family's lifestyle.

To visit new homes at Rhodes Ranch, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive and drive south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway. Head west on Rhodes Ranch Parkway and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For more information, call 740-4111 or visit rhodeshomes.com.
