Horror book convention coming to Vegas

Here’s some really, really early book news ... and by early, I mean a year early.
KillerCon, a convention for horror/thriller lovers, is scheduled for Sept.. 17-20, 2009, at Palace Station.
So far, guest authors include Joe R. Lansdale, Brian Keene, L.A. Banks and Heather Graham.
Lansdale’s books include the newly released “Leather Maiden,” “Lost Echoes” and “The Bottoms,” which has been reviewed here. Keene’s works include “Ghoul” — which coincidentally I just reviewed — “The Rising” and “The Conqueror Worms,” among others. Banks has written more than 30 novels and is working on a 12 book vampire series as well as a werewolf series debuting next year. Graham also has dozens of novels under her belt, with recent titles including “A Kiss of Darkness,” “If Looks Could Kill” and “The Death Dealer.”
For more information, go to www.killercon.org. Ticket prices increase as the convention gets close. From what I can tell, you can save $50 if you buy before the end of the year.
