I wish Harry Reid would treat us like a Nebraskan

Ugh. National jobless claims jumped last week, proving to Nevadans what we already know -- the pain of the Obama Recession isn't over.

And this morning, Nevada's unemployment rate jumped to 14 percent, making us No. 1 in the nation for that lousy honor. We beat out job-torn Michigan.

How can we be the worst in the nation for unemployment when we have the "most powerful" U.S. Senator on the planet in Harry Reid?

It's so bad out here, I'm almost to the point of urging Harry to treat us like a Nebraskan or a Louisianian. We need a "Cornhusker Kickback" or a "Louisiana Purchase" in Nevada, Harry.

Bribe us. Please.
