If this could be proven, Obama would be toast

That essentially is what one of my political friends in Las Vegas says about the story that allegedly Barack Obama tried to privately persuade Iraqi leaders to delay American troop withdrawal to make it better for his presidential run. The story did break out briefly on the cable news spin rooms, but didn't gain much traction beyond that.

At any rate, my friend says: "Obama is willing to sacrifice American lives...to fit his own political agenda. What??? I'd go to the wall to get proper validation. Again, if true...why isn't this all over every newscast in America??? Maybe the RJ could take the guy out. Be a great service to your county."

Well, my friend, in lieu of sending a reporter to Iraq (does Southwest fly direct?), let's start with this link and see what the blog audience thinks. Anyone else have more links to verify (or not) the story?
