Inspirada focuses on December home buyers

Inspirada, a new master-planned community in Henderson, is offering an opportunity for potential home buyers to receive complimentary photographic portraits.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, professional photographers will be set up in select model homes by KB Home, Toll Brothers and Meritage Homes, taking photos of guests with holiday-themed characters, including a snowman, a reindeer and Santa Claus. One complimentary 5-inch-by-7-inch holiday photograph per group will be available while supplies last.

While waiting for photographs to be processed, attendees will have a chance to explore Inspirada and visit the model homes throughout the community -- where many holiday surprises and treats await. Inspirada's first park, Solista Park, and its tot lot are open and the community center is providing information while offering holiday cookies, pastries, hot chocolate and hot cider.

Participating home builders KB Home, Toll Brothers and Meritage Homes all have homes available from 1,300 to more than 4,000 square feet, priced from the mid-$200,000s.

Inspirada is Nevada's first large-scale development incorporating a New Urbanism planning concept, creating a community reminiscent of towns and cities developed before the widespread use of automobiles in the 1950s.

When complete, Inspirada will be made up of seven individual villages, each with its own theme -- music, art, athletics, dance, exploration, painting and science. Each village will be anchored by a central park. At the heart of Inspirada will be a town center with restaurants, shops and entertainment venues.

In addition to KB Home, Toll Brothers and Meritage Homes, the consortium of nationally recognized and award-winning home builders and developers that have come together to create Inspirada along with the city of Henderson, include Focus Property Group, Woodside Homes, Kimball Hill Homes, Pardee Homes and Beazer Homes.

Inspirada is located at 1890 Via Firenze in Henderson. To visit Inspirada from 215 East, exit Eastern Avenue and head south to St. Rose Parkway. Turn west to Starr/Executive Airport Road and turn south. Follow the signs to the community entrance.
