Jaguar F-Type makes tour stop at Gaudin Jaguar

Gaudin Jaguar of Las Vegas is one of 20 handpicked dealers from more than 1,000 across the nation designated to showcase the Best in Show winner of this year’s Paris Auto Show. AutoWeek recently awarded the 2014 F-type its Editor’s Choice designation.

A preview of the all-new 2014 Jaguar F-Type roadster will be at the showroom, 7200 W. Sahara Ave., today and Saturday.

“We are thrilled to be selected for this honor from 1,200 dealers nationwide, and look forward to introducing the car in this sneak peek preview before the official release in late May,” General Manager Jim Mooradian said. “This exclusive traveling road show is a first for Jaguar and for Gaudin.”

The F-Type is the first new convertible design for Jaguar in 38 years, and harks back to the classic E type with shades of the XK. According to Jaguar, it sports seductive curves and three engine options including a 3.0-liter supercharged six-cylinder engine with 340 horsepower and 380 horsepower (S model), along with a 5.0l V-8 S with 495 horsepower and capable of going from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

It offers an eight-speed automatic transmission and has a speed-adaptive rear-trunk spoiler. The hallmark Jaguar Growler adorns the grille.

The dealership will maintain 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. showroom hours for the exhibit.
