Juhl reaches tenth floor
Construction of CityMark Development's juhl has passed the 10th floor. Sales have ascended as well, with the mid-rise having sold 65 percent of its units, according to the Rich Gustafson, president of CityMark Development.
"Juhl will soon be lighting up the downtown sky as part of the revitalization that is creating an incredible new residential, dining, shopping, entertainment, arts and cultural scene," Gustafson said.
"Our home buyers are getting very excited as they see their chic new address taking shape in the middle of all the hot spots that will be part of their new everyday life when they move in next spring."
Located at the corner of Bonneville Avenue and Fourth Street, the mixed-rise development is in proximity to Fremont Street Experience and the adjacent Fremont East District.
It is a walkable dining and entertainment corridor that city officials envision as the Las Vegas version of the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego or Beale Street in Memphis.
Among the recently opened new clubs and cocktail lounges are Brass Lounge and The Griffin, both located on Fremont Street.
Additionally, the project's surrounding location has become the center for downtown special events, such as the recent inaugural Vegas Grand Prix, the Annual Downtown Hoedown and the Las Vegas Marathon.
Cultural and retail amenities in the surrounding area also include the World Market Complex, where phase three of the furniture retail complex, designed by Jon Jerde, is now under construction. According to the owners and operators of this property, the impressive campus spanning 12 million square feet is expected to be the largest and most comprehensive trade show complex in the world.
"As construction progresses on juhl, you can see the downtown transformation going on all around it," Gustafson said. "Juhl residents will have an incredible world of dining, shopping and entertainment right outside their front door."
The residential and retail mid-rise complex will include more than 100 floor plans in live/work warehouse lofts, mid-rise and high-rise lofts, townhouses, flats and penthouses, ranging from 730 to 2,200 square feet. Prices start from the high $300,000s.
Interiors will feature contemporary design, including exposed mechanicals and concrete surfaces, along with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Residences include private patio or balcony. Kitchens are fitted with granite slab countertops, maple cabinetry and stainless steel General Electric appliances.
Standard amenities include high-speed Internet access, energy-efficient air conditioning and forced air heating.
Through CityMark's strategic partnership with Creative Touch Interiors, one of the nation's premier design centers, residents will receive concierge-level service in creating interior design and finishes.
Resident amenities will feature a rooftop courtyard with a 75-foot pool and spa, a fully equipped two-story fitness center, gated underground parking, 24-hour security and 24,000 square feet of retail space.
