Junior college football prospects check out UNLV

UNLV's first recruiting weekend is dedicated to junior college prospects. Here is a list of those who scheduled visits:

• Defensive lineman Louvan Green, 6 feet 6 inches, 280 pounds, College of the Sequoias (Visalia, Calif.). Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Made 42 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks and one interception.

• Wide receiver Eric Johnson, 5-8, 180, College of the Sequoias. Runs the 40-yard dash in 4.3 seconds. Was an All-American at Reedley (Calif.) College in 2008, but did not play in 2009 because of a broken collarbone. Caught 21 passes this season for 119 yards, and averaged 10.6 yards per punt return and 25 yards per kickoff return. Returned a kick for a touchdown.

• Kicker/punter Chase Lansford, 6-3, 195, Santa Ana (Calif.) College. Made seven of 10 field goals with a long of 52 yards. Averaged 43.7 yards per punt.

• Quarterback Sean Reilly, 6-4, 210, Saddleback College (Mission Viejo, Calif.). Completed 60.6 percent of his passes for 2,323 yards and 20 touchdowns, with six interceptions.

• Linebacker Thomas Tutogi, 6-1, 235, Southwestern (Chula Vista, Calif.). Scout.com two-star prospect. Southern California and Washington also offered scholarships.

• Defensive lineman Dennell Wesley, 6-3, 315, Butler County Community College (El Dorado, Kansas). Also is considering Houston, Kansas State and Texas Tech.
