Just to be safe, governor …
For a long time Nevada's medical reputation suffered when political leaders went out of state to have surgery, even the most routine.
However, given the news that Gov. Jim Gibbons' wife, Dawn, says the governor had affairs with two Reno women, both wives of doctors, may I suggest that if the governor were in need of, say, an emergency appendectomy, it might be best if he slipped off to California or Arizona for the work.
Just to be safe. We wouldn't want the wrong thing snipped, would we?
