KB to open two neighborhoods in Inspirada today

KB Home will unveil its newest collection of Built to Order home designs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today during a grand opening in Inspirada, a Henderson master-planned community.

Radio station, 94.1-FM "Mix" and the Slidin' Thru sliders food truck will provide entertainment and free food for the celebration.

Debuting are the builder's Renoir Garden collection of single-family homes and Monet townhomes.

Renoir Garden homes offer two-story home designs that feature spacious great rooms, front porches and a first-floor bedroom option. Pricing starts in the high $100,000s.

"The new-home designs we're introducing today at Renoir and Monet reflect what our homebuyers have told us they want in a new home," said KB Home Las Vegas Division President Rob McGibney. "The homes are smartly designed, beautiful and include state-of-the-art energy-efficient features to help our homeowners save money on monthly energy costs."

The new KB homes available at Inspirada are all Energy Star certified and meet NV Energy's Energy Plus requirements.

Built-in features such as high-performance windows and insulation reduce general heating and cooling needs, while programmable thermostats help homeowners monitor and control their overall energy usage.

The Monet collection comes equipped with the latest in water- and energy-saving features. The townhomes have prices that start the mid-$100,000s.

Inspirada residents have access to the 5-acre Solista Park, which has two pools, a children's playground and a neighborhood gathering space.

Current Inspirada resident, Jodie Taylor said she "loves the sense of community at Inspirada."

"Inspirada is a great place to live," she said. "People are so friendly here, and we are constantly meeting new people at the pool and at neighborhood gatherings,"
