Kingman boy, 6, killed in bike accident

KINGMAN, Ariz. — A 6-year-old Kingman boy was fatally injured when struck by two vehicles.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety detailed the Sept. 13 death of Daniel Patrick Early in response to press inquiry Thursday.

Early was riding his bicycle across Route 66 near Thompson Avenue when struck by a Ford Thunderbird that was traveling west, authorities said. He was then struck by a second vehicle.

Early died after he was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center.

No one else was injured and no citations were issued.
