Land Rover supports Toys for Tots

For the 11th consecutive year, Land Rover Las Vegas served as a sponsor of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Golf Classic.

The golf tournament is played at Sunrise Vista Golf Course at Nellis Air Force Base and, for the fourth year, Mojave Resort Golf Club in Laughlin.

The golf classics are the largest contributors to the Nevada Toys for Tots campaign. Money raised in Nevada stays in the state to purchase toys for underprivileged children.

In its first year, the event raised $2,500. Today, the Nellis event consistently raises more than $30,000.

"I could not have started this without the assistance of my friends Ray DiNardi and Mark Padilla (of Land Rover Las Vegas). They are tremendous corporate citizens and I am grateful for their friendship and continued support," said Thomas McGrath, chairman of the event who co-founded the Toys for Tots Golf Classic with fellow Marines Lt. Col. Sean Pascoli and 1st Sgt. Richard Slider.
