Las Vegas Art Museum makes the Times – for the wrong reason

The announced closure on Saturday of the promising Las Vegas Art Museum is noted in today’s edition of The New York Times. Are times so tough the community won’t support an art museum?

Bigger question is, did a broad section of the community ever support it in the first place?
