LAST NIGHT’S STARS: Jamie Foxx, MC Hammer, Steve Wyrick, Chester Bennington, Nikki Benz

Jamie Foxx sang at the Joint at the Hard Rock Saturday night. Afterward, he hung backstage with M.C. Hammer (left) and Too Short. Keyshia Cole joined him on stage for a few songs. Before all that, he hosted his “Foxxhole” Sirius satellite radio show from the hotel. (Photos by Erik Kabik/ Retna.)

[] UPDATE: Sorry, I reported this wrong initially. Steve Wyrick was supposed to get locked in a box, lifted up high, where he'd "escape" into thin air, and then the box would fall on burning spikes, and Wyrick would appear in a helicopter above the Strip, or something like that. But the flames got crazy early on, the box fell too early, and of course Wyrick was not in the box because, you know, that's how "magic" tricks work: people only appear to be locked inside boxes. I was given this info initially, but I misconstrued it and have been notified by a reader. Thanks, reader.

ORIGINAL POST: Saturday night on the Strip, illusionist Steve Wyrick (left) got locked into a box by Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington (who was in town to open his new Club Tattoo at Planet Hollywood). The box was raised up above a bunch of spikes on fire. The box was opened. Wyrick was gone. Then he showed up in a helicopter that landed on Las Vegas Boulevard, where traffic was stopped.
