Left-wing newspaper columnist arrested as commie spy

The deeply embedded commie spies (allegedly, of course) who were arrested this week included left-wing newspaper columnist Vicky Palaez.

Frankly, I'd never heard of her before. You can read more about the arrests here. And you can find a sample of her writing here.

She wrote her left-wing missives for El Diario, a Hispanic newspaper in New York City and doubled-up as a Newspaper Guild of New York official at her newspaper. She thought Fidel Castro was "immortal" and worked to unionize illegal workers in New York City as well as legally bring terrorists from South America into the United States.

In other words, she was a very good left-wing American newspaper columnist.
