Lennar launches new mortgage protection payment program

Lennar has introduced its Peace of Mind Mortgage Payment Protection Program at selected new-home neighborhoods nationwide.

"With an unpredictable job market and economy, buying a new home can seem like an overwhelming decision," said Jeff Galindo, Lennar Las Vegas vice president of sales. "But now homebuyers can rest assured because Lennar and UAMC (Universal American Mortgage Co.) now have a program to help ensure that your mortgage payments will be made, even if you lose your income."

Qualified homeowners that are enrolled in the Peace of Mind Mortgage Protection Program benefit from up to $2,500 per month for up to six months of the homeowner's mortgage payments, Galindo said.
