Lennar promotes amenities

Lennar's Canyon Springs model homes feature items that are included in the home's price. Models include stainless-steel appliances, including the refrigerator, washer and dryer, raised-panel oak cabinetry, stainless-steel sink, designer-selected granite kitchen countertops, 2-inch faux wood blinds and lighting and plumbing fixtures. These are included in the cost of the home.

Energy Star-certified features are also highlighted.

The neighborhood is a collection of single-story and two-story single-family homes that measure 1,905 to 3,128 square feet. Prices start in the $200,000s. Two single-story floor plans offer great-room designs that feature volume and vaulted ceilings.

"Our 1,905-square-foot, four-bedroom La Jolla features a courtyard entry with a private gate," Lennar new home consultant Linda Coleman said. "The home has a great curb appeal with split garages -- a two-car-garage and separate free-standing one-car garage that creates the outline of the courtyard."

The single-story Laguna totals 2,201 square feet. Design highlights of this four-bedroom home include a great room and separate formal living and dining rooms, which are located off the home's entry.

Two-story home designs include the Santa Clara, with 2,714 square feet, and the 3,128-square-foot Beverly Hills with five bedrooms, plus game loft, main-floor family room and three baths. Both homes include a three-car garage.

Canyon Springs is located at North 5th Street and Alexander Road in North Las Vegas. To visit, take Interstate 15 north to Craig Road, exit west to North 5th Street, then south to Alexander Road.
