Lennar to open Masters Collection in Southern Highlands

Lennar will hold a grand opening for its newest community, The Masters Collection at Southern Highlands, in early March.

It will feature 117 expansive homesites in the private, gated, golf course, 2,700-acre master-planned community.

“This community is truly in a class of its own in the Las Vegas Valley,” said Jeremy Parness, the company’s division president. “We have found that there is need for this type of home and Southern Highlands is where these buyers want to be.”

He said few homes at this size and level are for sale. Those that are on the market are about 10 years old, making it necessary for buyers to spend quite a bit of money and time updating them with the newest features to reflect the most current trends, he added.

At The Masters Collection, the homes will include name brand features at no additional cost.

These homes are built with indoor/outdoor spaces, media and entertainment rooms, open floor plans, upgraded kitchens, single-story designs and private yet connected living spaces.

“A great deal of careful thought and research went into the plan of this new neighborhood,” Parness said. “We wanted to offer buyers a luxury home that benefits from Lennar’s purchasing power and its Everything’s Included program and at the same time gives them some room to customize for their family’s needs; we believe The Masters Collection will be very well-received among savvy homebuyers.”

This brand-new neighborhood will consist of luxury single-family homes that measure 3,792 to 4,999 square feet with as many as five bedrooms, media room and loft, as many as 3½ baths and three-car or four-car garages.

In addition, options for various room configurations provide as many as seven bedrooms.

Lennar also will be introducing its new Next Gen — the home-within-a-home floor plan, with three plans designed specifically for multigenerational living under one roof.

The community’s oversized home sites offer as much as 20,000 square feet and many have scenic views.

Both two-story plans will offer deck options, allowing homeowners to take full advantage of their backyards.

The two-story and single-story plans will showcase oversized floor-to-ceiling, sliding glass windows.

“We are offering the best of the best in this neighborhood,” Parness said. “The amazing Southern Highlands location, combined with Lennar’s Everything’s Included features, makes these homes an unprecedented value. We have taken our included features to another level and we are passing these savings on to our buyers. The first buyers in this community will receive exclusive grand opening pricing so we encourage anyone interested to take advantage of this opportunity.”

Southern Highlands is near the Strip, and offers an array of parks, wide-open spaces, recreation and shopping.

Lennar has been building homes for more than 55 years.
