Lennar touts estate-style homes at White Horse South

White Horse South by Lennar offers estate-style luxury residences on home sites that range from one-third to one-half acre.

The residences measure from 3,911 to more than 5,000 square feet. Prices start in the $500,000s.

The neighborhood is gated and has a residents' park with views of the nearby mountains. The 120-home subdivision is located in the northwestern valley on Torrey Pines Drive just north of Elkhorn Road.

"White Horse South is one of only a handful of communities in the valley that feature larger home sites up to one- half acre," said Lennar director of sales Roger Seaholm. "And the residences we offer in this price range are unsurpassed. I honestly believe you won't find a finer property with comparable amenities at these prices anywhere else in Las Vegas."

The project includes five two-story residences with three-car garages. The home designs offer up to five bedrooms and five baths.

The homes are Energy Star-certified and part of the home builder's Logic of Lennar program, which provides upgrades and amenities that are included in the cost of the home. Some of these features are stainless-steel appliances including a General Electric side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, G.E. stainless-steel double convection and conventional oven, tall raised-panel kitchen cabinetry with crown molding, and granite kitchen countertops. An upgraded washer and dryer are also included.

"Our professional Lennar designers have done extensive research to assure that your home's interior and exterior features reflect the latest design elements and amenities," Seaholm said. "It's a part of our 'Everything you want. Everything you need.' philosophy that applies to every Lennar home in every price range."

Paverstone driveways and front walkways highlight home exteriors. Selected home elevations also offer stone veneer accents.

White Horse South designs include the 3,911-square-foot Bel Air with four bedrooms and 21/2 baths. This plan features the majority of the space on the main floor, creating a single-story home with 3,163 square feet on the first floor, and 725-square-foot mezzanine level with a game room, full bath, closet and private veranda.

Verandas accent the 4,498-square-foot Thousand Oaks floor plans. Covered patios directly below each veranda provide outdoor living spaces at ground level. Highlights include five bedrooms and three baths, including a main-floor bedroom with a full bath. Space located adjacent to the master suite gives homeowners the option of creating a private study, exercise room, media room, hobby room or expanded homeowner retreat.

Other residences include the Pinehurst with 4,459 square feet, the Turtle Bay featuring 5,000 square feet and the Pebble Beach with 5,037 square feet.

The Pinehurst has a den/study on the main floor and one on the second floor as well offering a myriad of possible uses.

The Turtle Bay offers a master suite that is two stories and includes an open library retreat located on the second floor overlooking the first-floor suite.

The Pebble Beach offers two laundry rooms, a second floor that measures 2,451 square feet and includes a 60-foot-by-90-foot bonus room/game room and media room.

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Jones Boulevard and exit north on Jones to Elkhorn, then west on Elkhorn to Torrey Pines, turn north on Torrey Pines to the community.
