Lennar’s Bermuda Ranch subdivision in southeast valley is nearly sold out

Only three homes remain at Lennar's Bermuda Ranch, according to sales agent Cheryl Huey.

The gated enclave is home to 18 residences resting on home sites that measure at least one-third of an acre each. The neighborhood is located at Bermuda Road and Wigwam Avenue just east of Interstate 15 in the southeastern valley.

The three remaining homes include the Thousand Oaks, Coronado and Turtle Bay floor plans. All of the community's homes are nearing completion with the first move-ins slated for early August, and final home completions scheduled in September, said Alex Natour.

The homes range from 4,498 to 4,933 square feet with up to five bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths and a three-car garage. Prices start in the $700,000s. The homes are included in Lennar's Everything You Want, Everything You Need program that includes an extravagant selection of luxury upgrades at no additional cost.

"Our residences include rich 42-inch maple cabinetry with crown molding in an elegant toffee finish," Huey said, "rich black granite countertops and all stylish stainless steel kitchen appliances with double ovens, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher -- even a stainless steel General Electric Profile refrigerator."

In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, Lennar also includes an upgraded washer and dryer at no additional cost. Homeowners also benefit from an extensive prewiring package that make the residences immediately ready for phone, cable TV, ceiling fans, multi media, audio system, security systems and CAT-5E for available high-speed Internet access.

The homes are Energy Star-certified, meaning they are energy-efficient and reduce power bills year-round. The Energy Star program is endorsed by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy.

"There are fewer and fewer communities in the valley that can offer these large home sites," Huey said. "Our spacious backyards have the ultimate luxury of space -- space for a swimming pool, a patio, a garden, a built-in barbecue or outdoor live-in kitchen, and even a children's play area. It's the Las Vegas dream come true."

Thousand Oaks offers five bedrooms and three baths. The design's first floor is highlighted by a great room with a fireplace, which opens to the kitchen with breakfast nook, bar-counter seating and walk-in pantry. The foyer opens to the home's formal living and dining rooms. A full bedroom and bath are also located on the main floor. Covered porches accent both the front and rear of the home.

A master retreat features a two-sided fireplace and a private balcony on the second floor. The bath offers separate sinks, vanity and two separate walk-in closets. This floor also houses a loft that opens to a veranda at the front of the home.

The Coronado features a two-story turreted rotunda entrance. It measures 4,410 square feet and features a raised-hearth corner fireplace in the family room, cafe with bay windows for informal dining, a kitchen with center island and pantry. The grand foyer opens to the formal living and dining rooms with window views to the covered front patio/porch.

The master suite dominates more than half of the second floor. The suite presents a retreat and library or sitting room with a bay window alcove opening out to a private veranda.

Two separate walk-in closets bank the walkway that leads to the master bath, which includes a separate walk-in shower with dry area, a raised oval garden tub backed by a window box and separate sinks. There are two additional bedrooms, one with its private bath. A loft area is included as an options. The garages are designed with a two-car and a separate one-car design.

Turtle Bay features a main-floor master suite with a staircase leading to a second-floor library and private retreat. The design offers 4,933 square feet with five bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. A covered patio and veranda extend the entire width of the back of the home, while an additional veranda accents the front elevation.

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, east to Las Vegas Boulevard, turn south to Windmill and then east to Bermuda Road. Proceed south on Bermuda to Wigwam, then west on Wigwam to the community. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday, when they close at 3 p.m. For additional details, call 258-8284 or visit lennar.com.
