LIBERTY BASH: Conservative Mag Rips ‘Sponge” Jon Porte’

 Hard-nosed conservative magazine Liberty Watch pummels Republican Rep. Jon Porter in a cover story breaking just in time for Election Day.

  Under the title, “Republican Sponge: Jon Porter has absorbed too many Democratic values,” Editor Mike Zigler takes the three-term incumbent to task for straying from a straight conservative path. In Zigler’s mind, a little bit Republican is worse than none at all. Porter has obviously been trying to temper his political positions in recent years to keep in step with his constituents.

 That’s good campaign politics, but the writer says it flunks the philosophy exam.

Would some Republicans really rather see Dina Titus in Congressional District 3 than Porter?

The answer is clear: At least some would.
