Licenses for illegals? DMV employee charged with bribery

It’s bad enough when you get stuck in a long line at the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. Now we’re learning that the illegal paperwork of undocumented immigrants might have been slowing up those lines.

The U.S. Attorney’s office has charged a Nevada DMV employee with accepting thousands of dollars to process driver’s licenses for illegal aliens not entitled to them, U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden announced Monday in a news release.

Nancy Brown is charged with federal program bribery. She was arrested Thursday and was released Friday on her own recognizance.

Be honest: What makes you angrier?

That a lowly state worker has been taking cash for licensing illegals?

That those illegals might have managed to get licensed without taking a test or securing insurance?

Or that your time in the DMV line was likely extended because of the alleged bribery?
