Lowden has $200,000 cash for primary end-game

Sue Lowden has about $200,000 to spend in the last two weeks of the Republican primary contest for the U.S. Senate, according to her latest campaign finance report.
And that's after the rich casino executive donated more than $1 million to her own campaign, about $550,000 since April 1.
Lowden has been burning through money twice as fast as it's been coming in since April 1 as she fights to recover in the tightening primary. Once the GOP front-runner, Lowden is now in a near dead heat with Sharron Angle who shot up after the Tea Party Express endorsed Angle and launched a $500,000 effort to help the former Reno Assemblywoman win.
At the same time, Lowden has faltered, tripped by gaffes like suggesting people barter for health care as in the old days when folks traded chickens.
Lowden has been on the receiving end of constant attacks from both the crowded field of GOP opponents and the campaign of Democratic incumbent Harry Reid, who appears to fear her most as a general election foe.
Lowden campaign manager Robert Uithoven wouldn't say if she would dip into her pockets again if needed before the June 8 primary.
"We have enough to win," he said.
Here's a look at Lowden's campaign figures reported to the Federal Election Commission, according to her campaign:
-- Total Receipts for the entire campaign cycle: $3,210,873.62
-- Total Receipts for the pre-primary reporting period (April 1 – May 19): $1,038,662.16
-- Total Contributions for the pre-primary period (April 1 – May 19):$488,662.16
-- Total Disbursements for the pre-primary period (April 1 – May 19): $1,098,231.63
-- Cash on Hand (as of 5/19/2010): $209,325.03.
The campaign also said to date, Lowden has raised $1,960,268.62 with an average contribution of $123.07 and a range of $0.10 to $4,800* It said 65% of campaign receipts to date have been contributed by Nevadans.
