Lowden Web site has campaign tone

She hasn't declared she's running for office, but Sue Lowden has built a campaign-like Web site. It's at http://www.suelowden.com.

On the site Lowden writes about herself and says she is considering a campaign for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev.

Lowden, a Republican, has this to say: "Anyone considering such a task must take the time to listen to Nevada voters, advocacy groups and potential donors, and that is what I have been doing. The support and encouragement has been humbling, and I anticipate making a decision in the near future. Our citizens -- no matter their political party -- need jobs, and a U.S. Senator who will fight for their interests, not Washington's."
