Man dies in Arizona house fire

A man died in a house fire Sunday morning in Fort Mohave, Ariz., about 15 miles south of Laughlin.

Fort Mohave Mesa firefighters found a man dead at 7:35 a.m. in a bedroom of a home in the 4300 block of Amanda Avenue, according to Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Trish Carter.

Investigators believe he was a resident of the home and that no other residents were there at the time of the fire.

The fire is under investigation and an autopsy is pending.
