Man offers message of hope in ‘Life Without Limits’

Everyone, at one time or another, goes through a period of feeling hopeless, that the world is against them and there is no one else suffering as they are suffering.

But according to Nick Vujicic, there is hope in the world, and the motivational speaker has made it his mission to spread that message, which can be a pretty tough job considering Vujicic has no arms or legs. In his book, “Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life,” Australian-born Vujicic tells the story of his life and how he overcame impossible odds to become successful.

Vujicic’s parents had no idea their first son would be born with no arms or legs, but they were determined that their child would lead as normal a life as possible. They made it clear that they expected him to accomplish things any normal boy would. He learned to swim, play soccer, ride skateboards, and even learned to surf as he grew older. Vujicic credits his family's love and support as well as his faith in God for his strength and courage.

“Life Without Limits” is not only the story of Vujicic’s life, it also is an inspirational guide for anyone facing obstacles. Through stories of his encounters with others, Vujicic shares how finding his own sense of purpose enabled him to overcome doubts and fears. He offers advice on how others can find hope for their lives.

Written in an easy manner with lots of humor sprinkled throughout his wise advice, Vujicic shares his message with a great deal of affection and gentle determination. He doesn’t preach, scream or yell — Vujicic just shares what is in his heart.

“I do believe my life has no limits,” Vujicic says. “Take a moment to think about any limitations you’ve placed on your life or that you’ve allowed others to place on it. Now think about what it would be like to be free of those limitations. What would your life be if anything were possible?”

Incredible advice from an inspiring man.
