Meritage preps Northern Terrace
Meritage Homes plans to debut The Club at Northern Terrace today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The multi-million-dollar, state-of-the-art recreation facility will serve the residents of Northern Terrace, part of the Providence master-planned community in the northwestern valley.
The grand opening event will feature food from Memphis Championship Barbecue and a drawing for a chance to win a flat-screen television and other prizes.
The Club at Northern Terrace offers three swimming pools, spa with shade canopies and outdoor barbecue and children's playgrounds. Residents will have exclusive use of The Club's indoor and outdoor play areas for children, a fitness center with Universal gym equipment, including cardio and weight machines, locker rooms, entertainment room with a big-screen TV and a full kitchen.
Meritage Homes put the design into place for The Club at Northern Terrace after receiving a response by homeowners who experienced the builder's similar facility at its Yellowstone development in Mountain's Edge, a southwestern master-planned community, according to Robb Beville, division president of Meritage Homes.
"It's important to offer our residents the best recreation options possible, and that includes being in master plans with beautiful parks and trail systems, as well as access to a facility like The Club at Northern Terrace that they can enjoy every day," Beville said. "We're excited to debut the new facility to our current residents here at Providence, and are looking forward to welcoming many new residents to the neighborhood who are interested in having such an incredible resource as part of their daily lives."
The Club at Northern Terrace has full-time staff members available to assist homeowners with the facility's amenities, and to help coordinate their events. As new residents move in, The Club will expand its programming, including activities for children, according to Beville.
The community includes 15 home designs with a variety of single- and two-story floor plans. Prices start in the low $200,000s. There are four villages: Concord, Andover, Salem and Brookline.
Andover will feature single-story homes and will have its own gated entrance.
