Meritage to open models at Inspirada

Meritage Homes will open its six model homes today within its Estate Homes and Village Homes neighborhoods at Inspirada, a master-planned community in the southern foothills of the Las Vegas Valley. City Homes will open model this summer.

The three neighborhoods are part of Inspirada's Solista Village within the master plan.

Seven themed villages, each with a central park, are planned for the 2,000-acre community. An urban town center filled with restaurants, shops, cafés and entertainment venues will sit at the heart of Inspirada, according to Robb Beville, president for Meritage Homes, Las Vegas Division.

Two floor plans are featured at Estate Homes. The Renaissance Plan measures 2,727 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths and a tech center. Its defining feature, a porte cochere, is an architectural structure that resembles a covered carriage entrance. The home design also includes a dining room and parlor that can be built as a den.

The 2,941-square-foot, Baroque Plan also includes a porte cochere, four bedrooms and three baths. Other highlights include a loft, front porch and options for a den or fifth bedroom. Prices start in the low $500,000s.

Priced from the upper $300,000s, Village Homes offers four two-story floor plans ranging from 1,924 to 2,661 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and three baths.

The home plans have second-floor laundry rooms and two-car alley-loaded garages. Some layouts can accommodate an additional bedroom, casita or studio.

Home buyers can make reservations for the two- and three-story attached townhomes at City Homes. Starting in the low $300,000s, floor plans measure 1,404 to 1,841 square feet with two master suites and 2 1/2 baths or up to four bedrooms and three baths.

Three designs are available. Every plan includes a two-car direct-access garage and second-floor laundry. Some plans include a front porch, bonus room or deck off the master suite.

Amenities will include community centers, swimming pools, tot lots, basketball courts and sports fields. A network of detached sidewalks, tree-lined boulevards and trails will create a pedestrian-friendly environment.

Meritage sales centers are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when sales centers open at 11 a.m.

To visit, take Interstate 15 and exit St. Rose Parkway east. Turn right on Executive Airport Road, right on Via Firenze, left on Jevonda and follow the signs.

From Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit Eastern Avenue south. Proceed south on Eastern, turn right on St. Rose Parkway, left on Executive Airport Road, right on Via Firenze and left on Jevonda to the Meritage neighborhoods.
