Meritage’s Whitewater offers TVs, Yellowstone Club memberships

Meritage Homes is including LG plasma televisions with the purchase of select homes available for immediate mover-in at its Whitewater Village at Yellowstone in the southwestern valley, according to sales manager John Tuvell.

In addition to the standing inventory homes priced from the mid-$200,000s, three model homes are for sale within the two-story neighborhood.

Access to the private $3.5 million The Club at Yellowstone is included with each home purchase, Tuvell said.

"Membership to The Club at Yellowstone is included with the purchase of all homes at Whitewater, one of five villages offered by Meritage Homes in Yellowstone," he said.

He said The Club's offerings are varied and appeal to its residents' different interests.

Composed of three buildings, the clubhouse offers fitness center, meeting room with big-screen TV, full kitchen and children's activity center. Residents can reserve common areas for private parties, and club staff regularly hosts activities throughout the year.

"Included with the clubhouse is a resort-style aquatic facility designed for both adult and family use," Tuvell said. "Come spring, when it warms up outside, families will be able to enjoy a family swimming pool and wading pool, and adults can enjoy an adults-only private pool, plus a spa."

Other community amenities include a basketball court, barbecue patio, shade canopies and a playground.

Residents also have access to the trail system and parks of Mountain's Edge, the 3,500-acre master-planned community in which the neighborhood is located.

Whitewater features four floor plans ranging from 1,617 to 2,019 square feet. Prices start from the mid-$200,000s.

The homes may be customized through design options that vary according to floor plan and include lofts, bonus rooms, dens, master retreats and covered patios.

Sandy Creek Plan One is a 1,617-square-foot, three-bedroom home with a great-room layout. Its island kitchen is equipped with oak finished cabinetry and ceramic-tile countertops with backsplash.

The upstairs laundry room includes cabinetry for linens and is central to two secondary bedrooms. The master suite features an attached bath with a dual-sink vanity and separate tub and shower.

The 1,816-square-foot Spring Valley Plan Two offers four bedrooms and 21/2 baths.

The home features a formal entry leading to separate family and dining room areas. Its kitchen features a food-preparation island with dual sink and counter-bar seating. A separate laundry room is situated between the upstairs bedrooms.

Rock Springs Plan Three and Crystal Rapids Plan Four measure 1,994 and 2,019 square feet, respectively.

These semi-custom designs offer as many as four bedrooms, three baths, a loft and two-car garages.

To visit, take Interstate 15 south and exit Blue Diamond Road. Travel west, turn left on Durango Drive and then turn right on Mountain's Edge Parkway. Turn left on Quarterhorse Lane into the community.
