Monterey offers buyers incentives

Monterey at the Las Vegas Country Club is offering furnished and decorated condominiums available for immediate move-ins, according to regional sales manager Marianne Pepe.

"The inviting furnishings have broad appeal and allow for real living," said Keefe Collins, vice president of sales for San Diego-based Parker Rose Design, which custom designed the furniture packages.

"Most people love professionally designed interiors, but frustration often mounts when they try to achieve the look on their own," Pepe said. "We handled every design detail in our furnished condominiums. Buyers can forget about the stress and look forward to pure enjoyment from the day they move in."

Located within Las Vegas' original golf course community, the tree-lined condominium development is near the Las Vegas Strip.

Pepe said the complex also offers a $10,000 flexible incentive program that buyers can use to pay closing fees, homeowners association assessments or reduce their monthly payments with an interest rate buy-down.

One-bedroom floor plans measure as large as 900 square feet. Based on the chosen plan, architectural highlights may include a private patio or balcony, formal entry, floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in closet, multiple secondary storage spaces or built-in bookshelves. Prices start in the $190,000s.

Among the standard features are slab granite counter tops and upgraded cabinetry throughout. Oversized baseboards, high-grade flooring, deep-well stainless steel sinks and ceiling fans are also included. Custom window treatments and two-tone neutral paint are among the decorator touches. Condominiums include an upgraded appliance package with a full-size washer and dryer.

The community's centrally located fitness center is equipped with cardio and weight-training machines. Tree-covered barbecue areas are scattered throughout the grounds, and residents have use of a Hydro massage spa and five swimming pools, some with views of the golf course and nearby Strip properties.

Private streets encircling the golf course are accessible for dog walking and jogging. Monterey has 24-hour gated access with a uniformed patrol.

To visit, take Interstate 15 and exit Sahara Avenue east, turn right on Paradise Road and left on Karen Avenue. Enter the development through the Las Vegas Country Club gate on Karen Avenue, located between Paradise and Maryland Parkway.
