Monterey touts outdoor amenities

Along with its golf course, Monterey at the Las Vegas Country Club offers condominium buyers a host of recreational opportunities in a landscaped environment, said Marianne Pepe, vice president of sales.

"Home buyers have discovered that just east of the Strip is the beautifully serene community of Monterey where we offer resort-style amenities that blend outdoor relaxation with health and well being," she said.

Outdoor amenities include five private swimming pools with hot tubs surrounded chaise lounges on a sundeck. Heated year-round, a resident can take in vistas of the surrounding fairways and water features while basking in the sun.

Picnic areas with gas barbecues are situated among the community's mature park-like setting.

"There's nothing more spectacular than kicking back with some friends for a picnic at Monterey as the lights come up on the Strip in the evening," Pepe said. "The views are breathtaking."

An onsite fitness center is available, and the country club offers residents miles of pathways for walking and jogging.

"In addition to these fine amenities, Monterey provides buyers lots of options in order to meet their lifestyle needs through 27 different floor plan variations," Pepe said.

Studio, one- and two-bedroom single-level homes as well as two-story townhomes are available, measuring 624 to 1,750 square feet.

Architectural elements include patios or balconies, fireplaces, wetbars, built-in bookshelves and walk-in closets. Upgraded flooring, two-tone paint, maple cabinets and granite counters are also included.

Buyers may opt for fully furnished homes that include custom-designed furniture, linens, tableware and artwork hanging on the walls.

"Whether you are planning to call Monterey home year-round or on occasion, you are also able to choose interior design options and finishing touches to fit your way of life," she said.

Its location, just east of the Strip, provides access to nearby hotel-casinos.

To visit, take Interstate 15 and exit Sahara Avenue east. Turn right on Paradise Road and left on Karen Avenue. Enter the community through the Las Vegas Country Club Estates gate on Karen Avenue, located between Paradise Road and Maryland Parkway.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For more information, visit montereylvcc.com or call 796-9700.
