More ACORN organized crime
Thanks to ACORN, I'm a voter!
In Florida, ACORN tried to register Mickey Mouse. When caught, ACORN gave their usual excuse, which is: Our associates did it ... not us! That's like Don Vito Corleone saying he didn't do it, Sal Tessio and Peter Clemenza did it.
At some point, enough is enough with the phoney registrations knowingly generated by ACORN. All public funding should be cut off to ACORN and the federal government ought to launch an investigation into ACORN activities using the RICO laws once used to stop organized crime in America.
The damage ACORN does in eroding confidence the voting system outweighs whatever good they might do in increasing registration.
You can read how Mickey Mouse got registered by ACORN at: http://www.tampabay.com/news/politics/elections/article852295.ece
And, as if registering Mickey Mouse wasn't enough, ACORN is under investigation in Cleveland for making teens offers they can't refuse ('smokes and dollar bills') to sign fake registration forms. One teenager was registered 73 times by ACORN. To read that sad story go to: http://www.cleveland.com/news/plaindealer/
And that's not the only video of ACORN alleged scams out of Cleveland. Get a load of this one: http://www.liveleak.com
