More Clinton lies

Sen. Hillary Clinton this week apologized to Black America for her husband Bill's comments about Sen. Barack Obama after the South Carolina primary. When Bill compared Barack's win there with Jesse Jackson's win, he didn't mean it to be offensive, says Hillary. But, if anyone was offended, she's sorry adding that both she and Barack's campaigns are not about race or gender and neither seeks to gain votes by race or gender.

This, of course, is absolutely true about Obama. It's a big fat lie for Hillary. I know because I heard it directly from her campaign on the eve of the Nevada caucuses. Her campaign called via one of those robo-calls, asked me to caucus for Hillary because it's time for a "woman" in the White House.

That's not running on gender? Of course it is.

My initial column on her playing the gender card in Nevada can be found at: http://www.lvrj.com/opinion/13931207.html.
