More Vegas love from Obama

In another probable example of how President Barack Obama "loves Las Vegas," several Nevada lawmakers have been invited to the White House on Thursday to witness him sign into law the Travel Promotion Act, sources said this morning.

Sen. Harry Reid and Rep. Shelley Berkley, both Democrats, have been asked to the ceremony, along with other members of Congress who promoted the tourism-friendly legislation.

The new law will form a government-backed nonprofit corporation to promote the United States as a travel destination to visitors from overseas.
