MORNING LINE: Fry’s Exec not exactly a ‘mastermind’

The case of fraud against "Omar" Siddiqui appears more solid by the day. He left quite a paper trail, according to the IRS, which knows a paper trail when it sees one.

He's accused of defrauding the Fry's Electronics company out of at least $65 million, which he spent at the Venetian and other Las Vegas casinos.

This from Dailytech.com: "The IRS claims that the deals for the massive commissions that Siddiqui had brokered were in exchange for guaranteeing that he'd keep the products stocked on shelves. The elaborate and lucrative scheme toppled when Siddiqui left spreadsheets on his desk outlining the payments and alleged kickbacks."

Spreadsheets. Yup. That qualifies as a paper trail.
