Mountain Falls’ Grill Room to celebrate

The Grill Room at Mountain Falls Golf Club is celebrating its first anniversary. Home buyers and golfers are invited to participate in dining specials and festivities June 1-7. The Grill Room is situated within the clubhouse at Mountain Falls, a master-planned golf course community by William Lyon Homes 45 miles west of the Strip in Pahrump, Nev. Giveaways are planned for each day of the week long celebration.

Music and entertainment will be featured June 1-2, while restaurant specials such as two-for-one drinks continue through the week of June 1-7. The celebration will offer two-for-one dinners from June 1-2 and two-for-one breakfast and lunch specials from June 4-6. Visitors should mention this article.

"We're planning family night for Thursday, June 7, where kids can eat for free when parents mention this article," said Neil Pierce, general manager and head golf professional. "Mountain Falls is a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly community. We can't wait to show our thanks and celebrate with guests of every age."

The Grill Room serves breakfast and lunch daily. Dinner is served Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday brunch is offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant is open to the public.

"Many patrons are regulars, which creates a really inviting setting within the restaurant," Pierce said. "Between our welcoming atmosphere and the views of the course and Mt. Charleston, it's easy to see why we're quickly becoming a favorite dining spot in Pahrump. We're so pleased with all we've accomplished in our first year."

In addition to anniversary festivities, guests can tour model homes or play a round of golf with a scheduled tee time.

"People who experience Mountain Falls, play here, choose to live here -- they love it. It's that simple," Pierce said.

Eleven floor plans are now selling at Mountain Falls. The William Lyon Homes' single-story communities of Cascata Ancora, Tramonto and Bella Sera offer home designs ranging from 1,429 to 2,897 square feet. Prices start in the low $200,000s. Desert Wind Homes, Classic Homes and Celebrate Homes will debut homes shortly.

Residents have access to a community resident facility, adjacent to the clubhouse. Amenities include a complete fitness center, locker rooms and resident lounge with a pool table. For a nominal fee, fitness classes are offered in the multi-purpose room.

The outdoor aquatic area features a family pool, adult pool, spa and interactive water-play area. Pool guests can order snacks and refreshments from The Grill Room.

Upon completion, Mountain Falls will feature a number of neighborhood mini-parks and an approximate four-mile walking trail.

Homeowner association fees are less than $50 per month, according to the developer.

To visit from Las Vegas, travel 45 miles west on Highway 160 (Blue Diamond Road) from Interstate 15.

Before reaching Pahrump, turn left on Manse Road. Proceed to Hafen Ranch and turn right, then left on Lakeview. Follow the signs to the Mountain Falls
